X.D. Network officially acquires the mobile publishing rights of Terraria in the Greater China region licensed by 505 Games.

 

Shanghai – July 10, 2020. X.D. Network Inc., the major videogame company listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited, announces today, along with Digital Bros S.p.A., a digital entertainment company operating in the videogames market and listed on the STAR segment of the Milan Stock Exchange, through its subsidiary 505 Games, a partnership to publish the mobile version of Terraria in Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan on App Store and on TapTap. The partnership was unveiled during the TapTap Present 2020, the event which announced the new exclusives for the TapTap community.

 

Terraria is a 2D action-adventure sandbox game that revolves around exploration, building, crafting, combat, and mining, playable in both single-player and multiplayer modes. The original licensor, Re-Logic, announced during April 2020 that the game reached over 30 million copies sold. PC is Terraria’s single biggest platform (published by Re-Logic), with 14 million copies sold, followed by 8.7 million copies on mobile and 7.6 million copies on consoles, the latter two versions being published by 505 Games.

Additionally, the Chinese mobile version of Human: Fall Flat – another renowned title licensed by 505 Games will also be released by X.D. Network on TapTap and App Store.
